Job summary

The Grange Primary School in Scunthorpe is seeking a dedicated individual to support primary pupils, ideally KS2. This role emphasises outdoor learning, practical activities, and building strong relationships with children.

We value patience, positivity, flexibility and enthusiasm, and the ability to support small groups and promote positive behaviour. Experience with SEND or SEMH is desirable; Forest School interest welcomed; no specialist qualification required.

Job description

Is patient, positive, flexible and enthusiastic.

Can build strong, supportive relationships with children.

Understands that some children need a different approach to help them succeed.

Is confident supporting small groups and encouraging positive behaviour.

Is a reliable team player with a genuine passion for helping children achieve.

Experience supporting children with SEND or social, emotional and mental health needs would be desirable. An interest in Forest School or outdoor education would also be welcomed, although no specialist qualification is required.
