Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in Wirral is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support pupils in a classroom and provide 1:1 assistance for those with SEND, including ASD and behavioural needs.

The role requires patience, energy, and enthusiasm to help pupils engage in sports, creative arts, outdoor activities and life skills, with potential 1:1 work.

Qualifications

• Proven classroom experience and ability to support pupils with a range of needs.
• Experience delivering 1:1 support, preferably for pupils with SEN including ASD and behavioural difficulties.
• Patient, energetic and able to engage students in sports, arts, outdoor and life skills activities.

Responsibilities

• Work across the school supporting students with diverse needs.
• Carry out planned and impromptu activities to aid learning and development.
• Occasional 1:1 sessions as required.

What skills and experience we're looking for

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our school.

To excel in this role, you will have proven experience of working in a classroom environment and 1:1, preferably with pupils who have special educational needs including ASD, learning difficulties and/or behavioural difficulties.

You will possess patience, energy and enthusiasm and be prepared to engage young people with significant complex needs in sports, the creative arts, outdoor pursuits and life skills activities.

TAs work across the school with all our students however, there is the possibility this role may consist of 1:1 work
