Job summary

North Lincolnshire Council's St Hugh’s School in Scunthorpe is seeking Teaching Assistants (Level 1) to support students aged 11–16 with diverse needs. The role involves assisting in learning activities, developing life skills, and ensuring positive engagement in school life.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as soon as possible to work with students aged 11–16 years who have complex learning, sensory, physical, communication, and educational needs.
Under the close direction of the teacher or another senior member of staff, the main responsibilities include assisting in the development of students’ learning and life skills, and supporting them to engage positively in all aspects of school life.
Extensive support and training are provided to ensure you are equipped to make a real difference in our students’ lives.
