Job description

The Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant, with a strong commitment to inclusive education, who is capable of working both independently and as part of a team in our friendly and successful school to ensure all children reach their best possible outcomes.

This role is essential in ensuring all children achieve their best outcomes, particularly those with additional needs. Experience in a school setting and a genuine passion for education are required.

The position is permanent, part-time working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, paid at scale 2 - £12.45-£12.65 per hour depending on experience.

John Randall Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and protection of children and young people. All posts working with children will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

KCSIE: Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child-centred. This means that they should consider at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
