Bourne Education Trust seeks a Teaching Assistant for Pyrcroft Grange School. The role is a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027 with a salary on the Support Pay Scale 3: FTE £24,330 and actual £17,330.

Based in Chertsey, applicants should support learning, assist with intervention programmes and work under the Headteacher’s guidance while embracing inclusion and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Awareness of safeguarding children and commitment to safe practices.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team under the direction of the responsible Teacher, support teaching provision and learning.
• Facilitate learning for individual pupils and groups, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
• Prepare, plan and deliver intervention programmes, adapting activities to pupil response and needs.
