Job summary

Beaumont School in Greater London is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our Learning Support department. The role supports lessons and curriculum enrichment activities, with options for full time (30 hours per week) or part time (minimum 3 full days).

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be friendly and approachable, striving for excellence in all areas. Prior SEN support or mentoring experience is advantageous, and training will be provided for

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting or mentoring SEN students is advantageous.
• Full training provided for moving/handling and personal care when necessary.
• Role supports lessons and curriculum enrichment activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching support in lessons and curriculum enrichment activities.
• Assist SEN students and support personal care where required.
• Move/handle SEN students as part of safeguarding and safety training.

We are seeking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant (TA) to our Learning Support department at Beaumont School. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be friendly and approachable and strive for excellence in all areas of the job. Applications for full time (30 hours per week) or part time (3 full days minimum) are welcomed.

TAs provide teaching support and assistance in lessons and during curriculum enrichment activities and so prior experience in supporting or mentoring SEN students would be an advantage.

Experience in moving / handling PNI (Physically/Neurologically Impaired) students, as well as assisting in their personal care, would also be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided, where necessary.
