Empowering Learning is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Derby school. The role involves supporting pupils in class, small groups and one-to-one, helping them stay engaged and ready to learn. You will assist with SEN support, prepare resources and maintain an orderly, positive classroom.

Term-time only employment with competitive daily pay between £90 and £120, depending on experience. We welcome a calm, patient TA with Level 2/3 qualification or proven UK school experience, and a commitment

Teaching Assistant in Derby

The role

• Help pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn
• Support children with additional needs, including SEN, alongside the class teacher
• Help prepare resources and keep the classroom organised and positive
• Encourage good behaviour in line with school policy

About you

• A recognised teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3), or proven experience as a TA in a UK school
• A calm, patient and reliable approach
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• A good team player who takes direction well
• Right to work in the UK
• An up-to-date enhanced DBS on the Update Service is ideal, but not essential
