Job summary

Palladian Academy Trust is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at Fitzmaurice Primary School. The role is fixed term, term time only plus one INSET, supporting a child academically and emotionally.

We value children’s emotional well-being and aim to help them be emotionally happy to achieve highly. The successful candidate will work 12.5 hours per week in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary school students is preferred.
• Ability to support students academically and emotionally.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils under the guidance of class teachers to help them progress.
• Make learning engaging and accessible for children.
• Be flexible, adaptable and contribute to school life and ethos.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupil wellbeing and development.

We are looking to recruit a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at Fitzmaurice Primary School. The role is fixed term, term time only plus one INSET and will support a child both academically and emotionally.

The successful candidate will be working 12.5 hours per week.

This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027 based at Fitzmaurice Primary School.
