Job summary

Five Rivers Child Care Ltd, in partnership with The Spires School in Salisbury, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils academically and emotionally within a nurturing learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers, deliver inclusive lessons, support behavior and wellbeing, and help implement individual learning plans. This full-time role offers development opportunities and a caring team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in learning within the classroom and through small group interventions.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Encourage positive relationships and pupil wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to meet individual pupil needs.
• Contribute to implementing individual learning and support plans.
• Maintain records and support educational reviews.
• Promote positive behaviour through a nurturing approach.
