Two Rivers CofE Primary School in Keynsham is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to support high-quality teaching and learning. You will help pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning within an inclusive environment.

The position is permanent and starts ASAP; term-time only with inset days, with a pro rata salary outlined in the grade.

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Understanding of child development and learning processes.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and inspirational teaching assistant who:Has a good standard of education (5 x GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above) or equivalent qualification/experience (e.g. substantial experience as a Teaching Assistant).Has an understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within theseHas an understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and in particular, barriers to learningIs able to plan and implement effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving,Is a natural communicator with the ability to relate to both pupils and adults.
