Job summary

Rugeley House School is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. You will support across key stages, assisting the children with their work and supporting pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model.

Please note the role is based on 39 weeks per year (38 weeks and one week training) following Staffordshire County Council term dates, with training and career progression opportunities provided by Aspris Children’s Services.

Qualifications

• Versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants able to adapt across all key stages.
• Support children with their work and assist with pupil behaviour while building strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with their work and learning activities.
• Support with pupil behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and act as a role model.
