Actual Salary £8,921 - £9,063 per annum (Grade 5 pay award pending)

This job is Part Time - Term Time Only for 15 hours per week and 39 weeks per year. Working pattern to be agreed.

It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31/08/26

Hayeswood First School is seeking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant (Fixed-Term). This role will involve supporting the SEND needs of pupils, you will be supporting on both a 1:1 basis and in a group to pupils with disability, learning difficulty or behavioural problems. This role is offered on a Fixed-Term basis until 22 July 2026 for 15 hours per week, 5 days per week which may be subject to change according to business need.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
