Job summary

Education at Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant for an Alternative Provision in Stroud. The role involves supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students who require additional guidance, both in and out of the classroom.

This position offers a daily pay of £90-115 plus holiday pay, and is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning. Candidates should demonstrate experience working with children and be prepared to promote positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• At least 30 days’ experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting additional needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• A calm, compassionate and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Helping students engage with learning and build confidence.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
