Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools in Inner West London
Location: Primary Schools in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster, London
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a proactive and enthusiastic individual looking to support children's learning in a flexible and rewarding role? We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in primary schools across Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster. If you're passionate about education and can ideally commit to five days a week, we'd love to hear from you!
Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various primary year groups
Assist with classroom management and provide one-to-one or group support to pupils as needed
Help prepare learning materials and resources
Encourage positive behaviour and help create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff to ensure a smooth learning experience
Previous experience working with children in a school setting (preferred but not essential)
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
A good understanding of the primary curriculum is beneficial
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
Availability ideally 5 days per week
