Job summary

Pool Hayes Academy, part of the Academy Transformation Trust, is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support learning within a 11–18 academy. The role involves supporting teachers, implementing planned activities and assisting a diverse pupil cohort to achieve their learning goals.

The ideal candidate has GCSE level 4/C+ including English and Maths, and will work under supervision to promote positive student engagement and educational outcomes in a dynamic school culture.

Qualifications

• GCSE level 4/C+ including English and Maths.
• Knowledge and understanding of strategies to help and support learners.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in line with the national curriculum and academy policies.
• Work in partnership with class teachers to support learning.
• Establish positive relationships with students and implement planned learning activities/teaching programs.
