Job summary

PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants for opportunities across the Middlesbrough, Teeside and the surrounding areas.

We work with a range of primary schools and are looking to speak with Teaching Assistants who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

We offer flexible roles, a straightforward registration process and a dedicated consultant to support you throughout placements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting.
• Patient, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Prepare and organise classroom resources
• Support pupils with additional needs where required
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures
