Job summary

Educato Limited is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support children in EYFS Nursery and Reception at a Droylsden primary school. The role is temporary, full-time (8:30am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri) with a daily pay from £109.72.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support in the morning and assist in the Reception class in the afternoon, promoting learning, development and a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with EYFS, Nursery or primary-aged children.
• A nurturing, patient and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young children.
• Reliable, organised and proactive.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support to a child within an EYFS Nursery setting during the morning.
• Supporting the class teacher and children within a Reception class during the afternoon.

• Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development.

Expected end date: Until at least Christmas 2026, with the hope of continuing for the remainder of the academic year

We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Droylsden, supporting children across EYFS Nursery and Reception.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working with early years or primary-aged children who is enthusiastic, nurturing and confident supporting children's learning and development.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
