Teaching Assistant - EYFS - Immediate Start in Grantham

Travail Education is a friendly, family-run teacher recruitment agency based in Grantham. We have been working closely with local primary schools for many years and are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in EYFS. The school is located on the outskirts of Grantham and is a popular primary school in the area.

You will work as a class Teaching Assistant under the guidance of the class teacher, with some 1-2-1 work as needed. All relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications from Level 1 to Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) are considered.

If you are a local Grantham-based Teaching Assistant with at least 6 months recent classroom experience, preferably within EYFS and familiar with the framework, with a calm and flexible approach, we have opportunities for you. The start date is immediate, continuing until the end of the Summer Term.

Although this role is on a supply basis, it has the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Our client primary schools are very welcoming, and you will receive strong support. The working hours are from 08:30 to 15:30.

While SEN experience is highly desirable, it is not essential.

All Primary Teaching Assistants registering with Travail Education will undergo two years of professional reference checks, and must complete an enhanced DBS check, be on the Update Service, and attend a face-to-face registration at our Grantham office.
