Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Manchester and surrounding areas. We offer daily supply, part-time and longer-term placements to fit your schedule.

In this role you will support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, assist with reading, writing and maths, help prepare resources and promote positive pupil behaviour. A recent UK school posting and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent UK-based school experience within the last two years.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar school support role.
• Positive, flexible and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Aspire People are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Manchester. We are looking for dependable and adaptable candidates who can support pupils, assist teachers and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

This is a broad opportunity for candidates with recent UK school experience who are looking for their next Teaching Assistant role, whether through daily supply, part-time work or a longer-term placement.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing individual and small-group support
• Assisting with reading, writing, Maths and classroom activities
• Helping prepare resources and support lesson delivery
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant UK-based school experience within the last two years
• Practical experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a comparable school support role
• A positive, flexible and professional approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
