Job summary

E-ACT Ousedale School in Newport Pagnell is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with responsibility for Exams Access Arrangements to support learning and progress for all pupils. You will work with teachers and the Exams Officer to adapt activities for diverse needs and maintain accurate records.

The role is full-time (32.5 hours, 39 weeks) on the NJC pay scale 12–14, with opportunities for progression and a comprehensive benefits package for staff.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience supporting children in a school setting.
• Ability to work with an individual child or a group.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support pupils, including those with special needs.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils based on individual needs.
• Assist with Individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs under guidance.
• Support the Exams Officer with exam access arrangements and record-keeping.
