Job summary

Deer Park School is seeking an Access Arrangements Co-ordinator/Assessor for 30 hours per week during term time (38 weeks). The role ensures JCQ-compliant exam adjustments for SEND students, managing referrals, assessments, and applications.

You will work with teachers, parents, and the exams team to ensure fair testing conditions, while developing staff understanding of best practices for access arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting, ideally SEND or exams.
• Postgraduate qualification provisionally supported by the Trust.
• Familiarity with JCQ regulations and exam arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the access arrangements process from referrals to submission.
• Maintain student records and evidence for JCQ inspections.
• Identify students needing arrangements through liaison with staff and families.
• Coordinate with exams officer and SENCO to ensure smooth processes.
