Shire Oak Academy in Walsall is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students in and out of class. The Academy aims to provide an outstanding learning environment aligned with its motto Turning Potential into Excellence.

Salary range: Actual £20,401 - £21,053 and FTE £25,185 - £25,989. Experience with young people and supporting learning are valued along with GCSEs in English and Maths.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (C or above) required.
• Relevant qualification in supporting learning is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional in class/out of class support to students in their care.
• Have excellent relationships with students.
• Ensure that they adapt the curriculum so that students with additional needs have full access to the curriculum.
