Job summary

The Round House Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. Aims include helping children learn, supporting the class teacher, and delivering targeted interventions across Early Years, KS1 and KS2, with a lunch supervision duty.

Ideal candidates will have TA experience and a Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent classroom coverage. We value enthusiasm, teamwork, and a commitment to our school's ethos and high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant.
• Qualification to Level 2 or 3 or experience covering classes across the school.
• GCSEs in Maths and English; high literacy expected (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering High Quality First Teaching.
• Support children one-to-one and in small groups.
• Lead interventions and work across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• Include half-hour lunch supervision.
