Higham Lane North Academy is inviting applications for a Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to start September/October 2026. The role involves supporting EHC and SEND pupils both in small groups and one-to-one, as well as delivering cover lessons when staff are absent.
Applicants will work with the Learning Support Team to help learners achieve and thrive, with emphasis on safeguarding and welfare throughout the school community.

Higham Lane North Academy is delighted to welcome applications for the post of Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to start September / October 2026.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and suitably-qualified individuals to work closely with the Learning Support Team, the post will support EHC and SEND students and other vulnerable students to ensure that they are able to achieve well and thrive at school. This will involve general support in a classroom and/or small group/one-to-one interventions. It also includes teaching whole classes of students from cover work provided by a class teacher in light of their potential absence.
