Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Complex Needs Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in North Liverpool. You will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping with learning, communication, independence and day-to-day development.

The ideal candidate will have experience with complex needs, autism and profound learning difficulties, and will be calm, patient and nurturing, able to manage challenging situations and contribute to pupils’ progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with complex SEN in a classroom or school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and/or profound learning needs.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach; able to manage challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis to aid learning, communication and independence.
• Contribute to day-to-day development and progress of pupils with complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, patient and resilient TA who has experience supporting pupils with complex needs, autism and significant learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping with learning, communication, independence and day-to-day development.
