Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work across a range of schools in Cardiff. These roles will cover various schools, and as this is supply work, you can specify your availability to work, allowing us to arrange placements on days that suit you.

Role Details

These roles can be either full-time or part-time and may lead to longer-term positions if desired.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in a class of up to 30 students.
• Work closely with the class teacher to provide constructive feedback on classwork and behaviour during lessons.
• Assist the Class Teacher with planned activities and sessions.
• Help create and update class display boards and assemble resource packs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with children across primary school ages. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience with pupils aged 3-11 is essential.
