Level 3 (Early Years) Teaching Assistant – Permanent Contract

Pro Rata £26,409 to £32,654

27.5 hours per week (Term Time Only)

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to work daily from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break) in Early Years, starting 1st September 2025.

Requirements:
  • Commitment, drive, and determination to improve standards and achievement for all pupils
  • High expectations of themselves, pupils, and staff
  • NVQ Level 3 childcare-related qualification (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of how children learn and develop in Early Years
  • Experience working in a primary school, preferably in Reception
  • Excellent classroom practitioner
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, and possess a strong sense of ‘good will’
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork
  • Keen to develop and improve personal practice

The role requires fluent spoken English, as it is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
