Job summary

Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe in Grimsby seeks a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join the primary classroom team. You will support teachers and pupils, helping learners grow and thrive through focused activities and inclusive, engaging methods.

The apprenticeship lasts 16 months with online/remote learning delivered by LMP Education. GCSEs in English and Maths are required, plus an Enhanced DBS check, and a commitment to professional growth.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grades A*-C / 9-4.
  • Successful applicants will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and willingness to learn.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship – Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe

Are you passionate about making a difference with children as they embark on their educational journey? We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice in our welcoming primary school.

Key Details

Salary:£8.58 increasing to National Minimum Wage after 12 months

Working hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and until 4:30 pm on a Wednesday (CPD afternoon) 33.5 hours per week

Location:Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe, Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby, DN33 1AW

Apprenticeship Details – 16 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).

Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you’ll be an essential part of the classroom team, helping young learners grow and thrive every day. You’ll support both the teacher and pupils, while developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for a successful career in education.

Your key responsibilities will include:
