Job summary

Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe in Grimsby is seeking a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support teachers and pupils, helping children thrive and build foundational skills. The role runs for 16 months toward a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship with learning delivered online.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and until 4:30 pm on Wednesdays; salary starts at £8.58 per hour and rises to the National Minimum Wage after 12 months.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A*-C / 9-4.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship – Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe

Are you passionate about making a difference with children as they embark on their educational journey? We seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice in our welcoming primary school.

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you'll be an essential part of the classroom team, helping young learners grow and thrive every day. You'll support both the teacher and pupils, while developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for a successful career in education.

Key Details

• Salary: £8.58 increasing to National Minimum Wage after 12 months
• Working hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and until 4:30 pm on a Wednesday (CPD afternoon) 33.5 hours per week
• Location: Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe, Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby, DN33 1AW
• Apprenticeship Details – 16 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
• Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)
