Job summary

Highfield Leadership Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprentice to support pupils under the guidance of teaching staff. The role is 32 hours per week, term time only, based in Blackpool. Apprenticeship lasting 16 months with online/remote learning provided by LMP Education.

You will assist with class and small group work, support students with additional needs, and help maintain a positive learning environment while developing practical classroom skills and safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE in Math and English Grade 4/C or above.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and adults.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and overcoming barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, small group and in-class support for identified students.
• Adapt or modify materials to access a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Differentiate learning activities to support curriculum access.
• Deliver intervention and support strategies as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in ICT-enabled learning activities and liaise with SENCO as needed.
