Empowering Learning Ltd. in Addelstone, KT15 Surrey, is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs including ASD.

The role offers 110–130 GBP per day with hours from 8:15 to 16:00. ASAP start and DBS assistance available, plus free CPD in partnership with Empowering Learning and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a school setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SEN including ASD, SLD and PMLD.
• DBS Disclosure or willingness to obtain one.

Teaching Assistant

Empowering Learning is currently looking for a SEND (Complex needs/ASD) Teaching Assistant based in Addelstone, KT15 Surrey. The role is a long-term position starting as soon as possible. Ideally, we're looking for candidates with a valid DBS however, we can assist in processing one should you not have a certificate.

Teaching Assistant - Requirements

• Good organisational skills, as well as flexibility and willing to work as part of a team.
• A passionate, empathetic and patient nature with a nurturing and inclusive approach to children and their families.
• The ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children
• A positive person who can work as part of a dedicated team and is able to offer commitment to the life of our school community.
• The ability to support a child with specific learning difficulties and some understanding and knowledge of different kinds of SEN including ASD, SLD, PMLD
• Recent experience, skills or knowledge of supporting children in a school setting would be an advantage.
