Job summary

Frizington Community Primary School, Frizington, Cumbria, seeks a Teaching Assistant for 28 hours per week on a fixed-term basis due to pupil numbers, commencing 1 September 2026. The post is pro-rata to term time with a FTE salary of £25,989.

The successful candidate will support learning, promote safeguarding, and work as part of a dedicated team to help pupils thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and committed Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team at Frizington Community Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and supportive School environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting the learning and development of students, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. The position will be for 28 hours per week and required from 1st September 2026.
