Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism in a small rural primary school on the outskirts of Lancaster. The role starts ASAP and runs long-term through the academic year, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Lancaster

A lovely rural primary school on the outskirts of Lancaster is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a warm, welcoming school community where staff work closely together to provide the very best support for their pupils. The school is small in size, creating a friendly and supportive environment for both staff and children.

The successful candidate will be providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and thrive throughout the school day. The role would suit someone with experience supporting children with additional needs, although a positive attitude, patience, and a nurturing approach are equally important.

This is to start ASAP and will be required until at least the end of the academic year (July 2027).
