Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for flexible daily supply roles across Barnstaple and surrounding areas. You will support both primary and secondary settings, with control over your days and hours to fit your life.

Role focuses on literacy, numeracy support and classroom help, with DBS documentation required or willingness to obtain. Competitive daily rates and local school experience available.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 months' UK experience working with children or young people.
• Location: Based in or able to commute to Barnstaple and surrounding schools.
• Attributes: Reliable, adaptable, proactive, and passionate about supporting pupils' educational development.
• Safeguarding: An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new one).

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our daily supply team, supporting local primary and secondary schools across Barnstaple and the surrounding coastal and rural areas. Whether you are looking for full-time work or just a few days a week, daily supply gives you complete control over your schedule without any take-home planning or marking.

What We Offer

• Great Daily Rate: Earn between £92.56 and £95.00 per day, depending on experience.
• School-Friendly Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 with no work to take home at the end of the day.
