Job summary

All Saints Laxfield CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our village primary school. The role is permanent and 11 hours per week, with DBS checks required for relevant posts.

You will work with our friendly staff to support pupils and contribute to high standards of teaching and learning in a wonderful community setting. We are looking for someone motivated, friendly, efficient and committed to inclusion, who can form positive relationships with children,

• Support learning activities and tasks set by the class teacher.
• Assist with pupil supervision and behaviour management to create a calm learning environment.
• Contribute to safeguarding and promote welfare of children in line with DBS requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, governors and parents to support high standards of teaching and learning.
