Job summary

Highfields School in Wolverhampton is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our learning support team. The role focuses on helping students with their learning and personal development, and you will act as a positive role model to support inclusive education.

The post is 37 hours per week, term time only (44.85 weeks), with a NJC Grade 4 salary of £22,005–£23,455. Closing date is 21 September 2026; interviews to be advised.

Responsibilities

• Support students with their learning and personal development.
• Promote positive behaviour and develop students' skills to overcome barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support classroom activities during term time.
