Job summary

Witherslack Group in Windsor is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH in Queensmead House School, a specialist setting with Good Ofsted rating.

You will assist pupils to learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem, working closely with teachers and therapists. A resilient, patient approach and dedication to inclusion are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to work with children and young people with ASD/SEMH needs.
• Ability to be resilient and dedicated in a demanding environment.
• Previous teaching assistant experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, help pupils develop abilities and raise self-esteem.
• Work with teachers and therapists to implement plans.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment in the classroom.
