Job description

We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Totnes, Devon, supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism and pre-verbal communication needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who wants to help children develop their communication, independence, confidence and learning skills in a nurturing specialist school environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualised support, helping pupils feel safe, understood and encouraged to reach their potential.

Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
