Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Plymouth, assisting with literacy and numeracy delivery under the guidance of teaching staff.

You will run targeted interventions, support small groups and 1:1 pupils, and help prepare learning resources while promoting an inclusive, professional classroom culture.

A Enhanced DBS on Update Service is required and you must have full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

• Assist in the preparation of learning resources and classroom environments to ensure readiness for the school day.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting children, youth groups, or vulnerable individuals in either a voluntary or professional capacity.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a high level of professional energy.
• Demonstrated flexibility in addressing diverse learning styles and emotional needs.
• Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a readiness to initiate the application process).
• Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
