Job summary

Step Teachers are seeking flexible Teaching Assistants for immediate placements across Clacton-on-Sea and surrounding areas. You will support pupils in classrooms, one-to-one or in small groups, helping them access learning and thrive in inclusive settings.

Role offers short-term and long-term opportunities with weekly PAYE payments and safeguarding checks in line with the DfE. No umbrella companies; commitment to safeguarding and professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting.
• Understanding of strategies for supporting children with a range of needs.
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
• Confidence working across different year groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

Your salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE - that means no self-employed or umbrella companies.
