Benedict Biscop CE Academy in Sunderland is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis to support learning and behaviour across the school. The role requires IT literacy, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to helping pupils achieve their potential.

The post is a full-time, permanent position (37 hours per week) within the North East region, with salary on the NJC SCP 6-7 scale (£26,847 - £27,274 FTE). Applications close on 16 October 2026, with recruitment steps following.

37 hours per week (TTO plus INSET days)
