Job summary

Beckington Church First School and Mells Church First School, part of the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust, seek a Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract. The role is 30 hours per week, term-time only, on-site in Frome.

You will support children in whole-class learning, small-group interventions, one-to-one support and playtimes, building positive relationships to help learners feel safe and ready to learn. The post is funded for up to 12 months.

Teaching Assistant Fixed term contract for up to 12 months, due to time-limited funding. 30 hours per week - 6 hours per day. Term time only (38 paid weeks / 44.6 paid weeks). Salary: BWMAT C - SCP 5 - 6, £26,427 - £26,847 FTE, pro rata. Actual salary from £18,327 - £18,618 per year.
