Are you a Graduate looking for Teaching Experience?

Are you in Sixth Form and not sure what to do next year?

Are you a nurturing, patient and caring person who would welcome the opportunity to provide academic support and pastoral care for our students with Special Educational Needs?

St Paul’s is one of the most successful schools in the country and our GCSE and ‘A’ level results are consistently in the top 10% nationally. We were again judged as outstanding in January 2024. We seek to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a September start.

Duties will include supporting students with Special Educational Needs or a disability in their learning, both in the classroom and one to one. You will have an ability to support students by differentiating work, pre-learning key words and explaining tasks. You will need to be patient, understanding and capable of establishing a good rapport with a wide variety of people, particularly children and teachers. ICT skills are required. Previous experience or an interest in teaching would be an advantage.
