Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant for a part-time role in the Stafford/Stone area, starting as soon as possible. Opportunities span day-to-day supply, short-term placements, or longer term roles with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school environment.
• Able to support whole-class learning and adapt activities for individual pupils.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide small group interventions (phonics, guided reading) and 1:1 support when needed.
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS (Update Service).
• Be fully registered to work for Academics.

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning and adapt activities to meet pupil needs.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences in collaboration with the class teacher.
• Provide targeted small group interventions and 1:1 support as required.
• Contribute to planning and delivering lessons in line with school policies.

We're Looking For Teaching Assistants Who...

• Have experience supporting children within a primary school environment.
• Can confidently support whole-class learning while adapting activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Can provide small group interventions, including phonics and guided reading, as well as 1:1 support when needed.
• Holds, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Are fully registered to work for Academics.

Pay:

£93 - £100 per day. Holiday pay is included within the daily rate.
