We are seeking a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, starting immediately. The successful applicant will support pupils with various special educational needs, including Autism and behavioral challenges, to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
SEND Teaching Assistants should have a positive attitude towards pupils and support them in achieving success and excelling in the classroom. The candidate should demonstrate assertiveness, good behavior management, and a passion for supporting SEND pupils. Previous experience working with SEND pupils is preferred. Candidates should be able to support pupils of varying abilities.
