Job summary

Mowden Hall School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Pre Prep team, supporting pupils in Years 1 and 2. Mowden Hall School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching assistant to join our Pre Prep team. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and experienced individual to work closely with our Pre-Prep staff within Years 1 and 2.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, helping to ensure every child is nurtured, challenged and able to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will fit the following profile:

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Professional experience working within years 1 and 2 of a Primary or Pre Prep setting.
• Hold an in date Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Pediatric First Aid trained.
• Commitment to the personal and educational development of pupils and to an ethos of respect and kindness.
• High levels of communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to enable effective communication with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Calm and empathetic, especially under pressure.
