Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant for a pupil referral unit in the Primary phase, located in Lichfield. The role requires a caring, committed and enthusiastic approach to help build positive relationships and support learning.

You’ll motivate and support pupils, think on your feet, and help bring learning to life, especially for learners with additional SEMH needs. Long-term commitment and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Practical experience assisting learners with additional SEMH needs.
• Commitment to a long-term placement.
• Capable of staying composed in challenging situations and acting as a dependable mentor for pupils.
• Skilled at establishing strong connections with students, colleagues, and families.
• Preferably possess a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or relevant professional history.
