Teaching Assistant - Alsager

Long-Term Full-Time Specialist ASD School

A specialist SEND school in Alsager is looking for recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.

The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment for young people with additional needs, helping pupils develop confidence, independence and the skills they need to succeed. The school support students in both primary and secondary.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you\'ll work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide high-quality learning and pastoral support to pupils with ASD and additional needs.

You\'ll provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils engage with lessons, develop confidence and make progress both academically and personally.

As a Teaching Assistant, you\'ll play an important role in understanding each pupil as an individual and recognising that every young person has different needs, strengths and ways of communicating.

You\'ll support pupils to overcome barriers to learning, develop positive strategies and build their confidence and independence.

Working alongside teachers and specialist staff, you\'ll help create an environment where pupils feel safe, understood and supported.

You\'ll Support Pupils To:
