The Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, preparation, and resources for lessons
  • Adopt relevant strategies to support teaching and increase achievement, including for pupils with SEND

  • Apply consistent behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Maintain good order and discipline, managing behaviour effectively for a safe learning environment
  • Organise and manage the classroom and resources to ensure a stimulating and safe environment
