Salary: £90-110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply
Start Date: Immediate and September starts available
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in the S10 area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning, helping teachers deliver engaging lessons, and creating a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils
Work with small groups or individual students, including those with SEND
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management
Encourage pupil engagement and participation
Support the development of pupils’ social and emotional skills
We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working with children or young people (in schools, nurseries, or youth settings)
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) — desirable but not essential
